The rivalry between RAW superstars Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has been going on for months. From various verbal back and forth to things escalated dramatically at WrestleMania 40 and other run-ins, both fierce rivals have left no stone unturned to take a shot at one another.

In a recent stunt, Drew McIntyre visited the new WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, to continue his menacing antics directed at CM Punk. He enlisted the help of a technician to display a tearful image of Punk on the massive LED screen and even recreated Punk’s infamous trapped-in HQ shenanigans to mock him.

However, McIntyre made an interesting revelation that had not been heard in any of their verbal altercations, segments, or vignettes. In a recent interview with Indian Express, The Scottish Warrior stated that CM Punk hurt him both professionally and personally when he was younger, hinting at a heated history between them.

“We have a history that people just do not know about yet. He hurt me personally and professionally when I was younger.”

Beyond his clashes with CM Punk, Drew McIntyre is set to compete at WWE Clash at the Castle against Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title next week in his home country of Scotland.

However, it will be interesting to see if Drew indeed elaborates on the history between himself and CM Punk in the coming weeks on WWE television programming.
