WWE NXT is set to produce one of its biggest and most exciting PLE, NXT Battleground in a completely different setting. Set to take place this Sunday, the event will take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The match card for the show features some of the most enthralling showdowns including Ethan Page’s debut against Trick Williams for the NXT title, TNA’s Jordynne Grace facing Roxanne Perez for her NXT Women’s title, Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler colliding in an NXT Underground match and more.

Moreover, with the Apex being a prime home for WWE’s co-brand under the TKO Group, UFC, according to a new update by Fightful Select, there was a pitch made this weekend by WWE to use the Octagon for a match, possibly for Lola vs Shayna’s match.

However, the report further stated that the usage would become a logistical issue for the production personnel and is unlikely to happen due to the same.

“While the UFC Octagon was pitched for use this weekend, we were told this would cause logistical issues by those we spoke to in production, and unlikely to occur due to these issues.”

Regardless of that, NXT Battleground is expected to be history in the making with its incredible line-up as WWE invaded Las Vegas to produce a memorable show for the ages.
