The giants of professional wrestling, AEW, and NJPW are teaming up once again to present their collaborative event, Forbidden Door. The show is scheduled for June 30 at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, and is set to feature a major championship match.

On the June 5 edition of AEW Dynamite, Outcasts member Saraya, flanked by her brother Zak Knight and Harley Cameron, was scheduled to compete against Timeless Toni Storm’s protege, Mariah May in a one-on-one showdown.

Despite a valiant effort by Mariah with Toni supporting her throughout the match with her words on commentary, she ultimately fell to the submission of Saraya. Following the match, Saraya and Harley laid a beatdown on both mentor and protege.

That led to Mina Shirakawa, who has been a close ally to Mariah May to enter the fray and fend off Saraya and Harley’s attack. At the moment, it was made official that Mina would battle Timeless Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Forbidden Door.
