Rhea Ripley Backstage During Recent AEW Event Amidst Injury Hiatus

Rhea Ripley has been out of action since April, where she was forced to vacate her WWE Women’s World Championship due to her injury. While she remains absent from WWE television, it appears she was backstage at a recent AEW show

AEW Double or Nothing was held at the MGM Grand Arena and featured tons of memorable moments, including the return of MJF, Adam Copeland and Malakai Black going to war and more.

Rhea Ripley’s fiancé Buddy Matthews was also part of the aforementioned Malakai Black match as well. In light of this, Fightful Select reports that Rhea Ripley was backstage at AEW Double or Nothing as she remains absent due to injury. It is very likely she was visiting Matthews at the event, among others.

While Rhea Ripley remains absent due to injury, Liv Morgan ended up becoming the Women’s World Champion and Morgan continues to play mind games with Dominik Mysterio and Ripley till then. We’ll have to wait and see when Ripley will make her triumphant return to WWE television.
