The AEW fans were left stunned by the re-emergence of the company’s top star after an extended absence, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, popularly known as MJF. He made his shocking appearance at AEW Double or Nothing confronting the man who put him on the shelf, Adam Cole.

After dispatching his heated rival, MJF pledged his allegiance to Tony Khan’s company and vowed to reclaim his spot at the top of the mountain. The Salt of the Earth made his long-awaited return to AEW programming on tonight’s June 5 edition of Dynamite.

The Salt of the Earth began with some fun antics before turning his attention on the people who are currently at the top of the conversation in AEW, namedropping Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, and AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and launching shots at them as only MJF could.

MJF continued to brag about his supremacy until he was interrupted by Rush who had laid down a warning to him just last week. This led to a heated verbal back-and-forth between them until Rush heard enough and entered the ring to throw punches with MJF only for officials to intervene in between ending the segment in massive chaos.
