WWE is renowned for showcasing exceptional in-ring talent from around the globe. While the main roster boasts top-tier stars, its developmental brand, NXT, cultivates promising talent to elevate them to the next level. One such rising star is Karmen Petrovic from NXT, who recently confirmed her injury following this week’s NXT episode.
During the June 4 episode of NXT, Petrovic accompanied Natalya to the ring for her match against Izzi Dame, using a crutch due to an injury sustained at a live event over the weekend. The commentary team highlighted this during the broadcast.
Petrovic later addressed the injury on Twitter, sharing a photo of her wrapped foot/ankle and expressing her resilience, stating she never gave in or up, emphasizing that she was the only fear she harbored.
”never gave in, never gave up… i’m the only thing i’m afraid of.. ⏳🗡️”
Since her victory over Jakara Jackson at the May 31 NXT live event, Petrovic hasn’t competed inside the squared circle. The specifics of her injury remain undisclosed, and there is no update on when she will return to the ring, so we’ll have to wait and see when she will be able to make her in-ring return.
