Professional wrestling demands a lot from its athletes, often leading to injuries as they strive to entertain their fans. Unfortunately, another name has been added to the list of wrestlers facing this challenge: Asuka. Recent reports indicate that she has undergone knee surgery, highlighting the physical toll of the sport.

During last month’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Dakota Kai revealed that Asuka had sustained an undisclosed injury due to which she had to be pulled from the Queen of The Ring tournament.

Asuka would then confirm she is taking time off WWE television in order to recover from nagging knee injury and it was then reported that the knee injury took place during SmackDown angle about two months ago, where she began limping.

The Empress of Tomorrow took to Twitter today and uploaded a photo of herself at the hospital, as she showed off her knee in a brace and bandages while wearing a hospital gown.

”My knee My 膝”

We wish Asuka a speedy recovery and hope she can get back to in-ring action as soon as possible, as it might be a while until The Empress of Tomorrow returns to WWE television.
