Since his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk has proved to be a massive force of attraction for WWE. Not only has the Best in the World played out to be one of the most loveable characters in the company currently, but has also fulfilled a plethora of responsibilities in the company.
Punk has been sidelined with an injury for a long time now. However, he hasn;t stayed at home enjoying the shows on his television. He has been working day and night enhancing talent on NXT and helping main roster stars retain their spot on the top.
In a recent appearance on the Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez podcast, Trick Williams addressed Punk’s contribution in NXT and how he has motivated stars to get to the level they are right now. In the end, Williams called Punk the ‘positive light’ of NXT.
“Mentor is a perfect way to put it, man. He has been a blessing for all of us who would take the time to actually go talk to him and reach out to him. He’s helped me with a few things that I feel like, if the crowd knew about it, they would be very grateful that he did. I’ll just leave it there. Shoutout to CM Punk. He’s been a positive light for all of us here in NXT.”
While CM Punk has already done a lot for WWE and its superstars since his return, a lot is still left to be done. With the change in attitude of the Best in the World when compared to his first run in the company, Punk becoming one of the most loved mentors of the company won’t be a surprise.
