Nick Hogan was arrested on DUI charge last year following a traffic stop where authorities suspected he was driving under the influence. This took place after Nick Hogan judged and DJed a bikini contest at his father’s restaurant, Hogan’s Beach Shop. It now seems that he is set for a court hearing to change his plea.
Nick Hogan entered plea of not guilty but he is clearly not out of the woods. The incident leading to Nick Hogan’s arrest occurred in Clearwater, FL, on the morning of November 18th around 4 AM. He was returning home from a bikini contest held at his father’s restaurant. Bollea refused to undergo a breathalyzer test when taken into custody.
According to the arrest report, Nick Hogan’s 2021 Dodge Ram approached a traffic stop in the median lane. Despite signals to pull over, he did not change lanes and maintained a speed of 51 miles per hour in a 40 mph zone. Officers pursued and eventually pulled him over. Bollea exhibited signs of impairment, including a strong odor of alcohol, swaying balance, glassy and bloodshot eyes, and poor performance on field sobriety tests.
PWInsider reports that there will be a hearing on Thursday, June 6th, concerning Nicholas Bollea, altering his plea regarding his November 2023 arrest for misdemeanor DUI. The hearing is set for 8:30 AM at the Pinellas County Court. Bollea had previously entered a plea of not guilty. Whether this change in plea is part of an agreement with the prosecution is yet to be determined.
Known as the son of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, Nick Hogan appeared on the reality series “Hogan Knows Best” on VH-1 and made occasional appearances on WWE programming. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what will become of Nick Hogan in the end.
