The rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk escalated significantly at The Show of Shows when Punk ambushed McIntyre after his title match with Seth Rollins. This surprise attack allowed Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, claiming the World Heavyweight title. The betrayal not only cost McIntyre the championship but also ignited his desire for revenge against Punk.

Since then, the animosity between McIntyre and CM Punk has intensified, with both trading barbs and further intensifying their feud. Moreover, McIntyre even fired shots at fan for wasting their money on CM Punk merchandise.

The recent escapade saw Drew McIntyre reach the new WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut to take a shot at his heated foe. He took to his X to reveal that he took help from a technician in the building bringing up a tearful image of CM Punk on the huge LED screen at the reception area and laughing at the same.
