Sheamus made his return to the ring on RAW back in April and has competed in some incredibly physical matches since then. This included his match against Ludwig Kaiser on the June 3rd edition of RAW and the backstage reception to the bout has now been revealed.

As seen on the June 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW, Sheamus faced off against Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser, who has been going after The Celtic Warrior since GUNTHER defeated Sheamus in the first round of the King of the Ring tournament.

The match ended up being a true banger as both competitors put their bodies through absolute hell. The closing moments of the bout saw The Celtic Warrior injuring his leg, which ultimately led to his downfall as a failed attempt to execute a Brogue Kick led to Kaiser rolling up Sheamus and picking the win.

According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser ended up getting a ton of praise backstage. Naturally, this comes as little surprise to many, as both competitors know when to bring their best to the ring.

”Sheamus vs. Ludwig Kaiser got a lot of praise based on those we spoke to backstage.”

Sheamus even showed off his battle scars following the intense contest. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for The Celtic Warrior, as he hasn’t really been able to win matches lately at all.
