Sexyy Red has been garnering increased attention in both the music scene and professional wrestling as of late, particularly after her prominent role in NXT last week. Her appearance sparked memories of Cameron Grimes’ reaction to her announcement, leading Grimes to address his previous remarks.
It was previously announced that Sexyy Red would be making her appearance on the May 28th edition of NXT. This news received mixed reactions, with many fans questioning her involvement in the show. Cameron Grimes also reacted to the announcement on Twitter, claiming that it genuinely hurt him.
Cameron Grimes’ remarks ended up causing backlash as many felt he had no right to react that way about Sexyy Red. In an update, Grimes took to Twitter and clarified his previous remarks, noting that he is actually a fan of Sexyy Red and wanted to meet her.
”I’m a fan of @SexyyRed314_ I was jealous I did not get to meet her. For those of you who are wondering.”
Cameron Grimes has moved on from WWE as he is currently focused on honing his craft elsewhere. As for Sexyy Red, another WWE star was disgusted by her appearance on NXT last week, so we’ll have to see if the rapper will become a regular thing on NXT eventually.
