Dijak had been on a roll ever since he returned to NXT last year, as the star was truly bright for the NXT Superstar. Dijak got drafted to RAW this year but hasn’t really done much since then and now some want him to go to AEW.
The 37-year-old wrestler has been under a WWE contract since 2017, but reports suggest that his current deal is set to expire within this month. Despite being drafted to RAW in April, the former member of RETRIBUTION has not been featured on the red brand for over two months.
Matt Morgan, on the Gigantic Pop podcast, has voiced his opinion that the former T-Bar should consider a move to AEW after his contract ends. The TNA legend highlighted that WWE has repeatedly miscast Dijak despite his exceptional in-ring abilities. Therefore, according to Morgan, transitioning to Tony Khan’s promotion could offer him better opportunities to showcase his talent.
“He [Dijak] could be good in AEW. They have miscast him multiple times, no question. He’s a fantastic in-ring worker. I’m a big guy and I’m very very competitive with comparing myself against some of these other big guys but I’ll be the first to say this dude is good. He’s really good and he can work anybody.”
We have reported that has yet to sign a new contract with WWE and it is not known what WWE will do with Dijak in the end. It is to be noted that Dijak was booked for a recent TV taping and he lost to Pete Dunne in a match filmed for Main Event, so we’ll have to see what Dijak will do in the end.
