There’s been a notable reorganization at TNA Wrestling, with the company recently parting ways with several significant names in the backstage department. One of these departures includes Lou D’Angeli, and the reason for his departure has now been revealed.

As previously reported, Lou D’Angeli, formerly known as Lou E. Dangerously in ECW, parted ways with TNA Wrestling recently as part of the company’s latest round of departures.

According to PWInsider, sources within TNA revealed that there had been some strain in the relationship in recent months. This was primarily due to the company’s slow process in confirming their event dates and cities. Lou D’Angeli had been advocating for TNA to depart from their usual practice of running the same cities on consecutive nights, but management did not move forward with this strategy.

Additionally, there were issues with dates and cities being communicated to staff and wrestlers, only for the scheduling to change multiple times. As the head of the live events division, D’Angeli found himself in the challenging position of being questioned by wrestlers and staff without having clear answers from higher-ups in the company.

Last week, there was a meeting between Anthem executives and D’Angeli, during which they mutually agreed to part ways. Anthem officials later contacted D’Angeli to inform him of the decision, which he reportedly accepted.

As noted earlier, RD Evans was another notable departure from TNA Wrestling as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for D’Angeli, as his departure remains a shocker.
