Ken Shamrock is one of the first names that comes to mind who transitioned from the MMA world to the world of professional wrestling and he made an impact during his time there. With that said, Shamrock has now addressed his absence from WWE anniversary shows.

The World’s Most Dangerous Man made his way to WWE back in 1997 and stayed with the company for the next two years. He saw a decent amount of success during that time as well, transitioning his success from the Octagon.

While speaking to Steve Fall for Ringside News, Ken Shamrock was asked about his absence from WWE anniversary shows. Ken Shamrock reflected on his tenure in WWE, acknowledging that while he was only there for less than three years, he had been wrestling long before that. He mentioned being a fighter before joining WWE, implying a deeper connection to the wrestling world.

“Yeah, you know, I mean, obviously, there’s something—I don’t know what it is. But maybe it’s the fact that I was only there for three years, or a little less than three years. But I’ve been wrestling long before that, before I became a fighter. I don’t know, like I said, it’s not really my place to try to figure out what other people are thinking.

Ken Shamrock hinted at behind-the-scenes turbulence within WWE over the last decade, suggesting that organizational issues may have affected decisions regarding Hall of Fame inductions.

“But there’s also the last probably 10 years, there’s been an earthquake in WWE, you know? I mean, like, there’s been a lot of things going on behind the scenes that fans don’t see, that I’m able to hear through the grapevine that have been always unsettling. So you don’t know who’s doing what over there now. I believe that there’s some actual organization starting to happen, and an actual business starting to be rebuilt. So, you know, we’ll see what happens in the next couple years.”

Ken Shamrock would also only return to WWE if it makes sense to him. He also had trust issues with WWE prior to his exit. We will have to wait and see whether he will return to WWE one day, as fans would love to see him back.
