Drew McIntyre’s rise to superstardom in recent months can be attributed to his robust social media presence and unwavering performance in WWE. Renowned for his dedication and professionalism, McIntyre has solidified himself as a “company man,” consistently delivering his best in every scenario. Despite being sidelined from in-ring competition due to injury for a period, McIntyre has now made a triumphant return to competing at WWE live events.

As previously reported, WWE announced that the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, which will be taking place on June 15th this year. It will be held in the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. It was then announced that McIntyre would challenge Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at The Castle.

In case you forgot, Drew McIntyre suffered a hyperextended elbow injury and worked through the injury for a while before taking time off from in-ring competition to heal up properly.

On Friday night after the May 31st edition of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre made his in-ring return by putting over Jey Uso in a dark match. The following night, at a live event in White Plains, NY, McIntyre competed in a triple threat bout where he and Jey Uso helped elevate Damian Priest, with the World Title on the line. This marked McIntyre’s return to live events after almost two months.

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether The Scottish Warrior will be able to defeat Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at The Castle on June 15th.
