Dana White Reveals Working Relationship Status Between WWE and UFC

Last month, TKO announced the integration of the UFC and WWE Live Events teams into a single unit, aiming to drive revenue growth strategies across key areas. As a result of this integration, there were employee layoffs, including several within WWE. WWE is set to hold NXT Battleground next Sunday at the UFC Apex, an event center and production facility where UFC airs Fight Night events, Dana White’s Contender Series, and more.

During the UFC 302 press conference, UFC President Dana White was asked about his experiences with WWE or if their operations had remained separate. White clarified that the two entities operate independently for him and WWE.

“It’s very separate. I haven’t worked with them at all. I do what I do, and they do what they do. They’re using some of the people from my team to help them in different areas, business-wise, but as far as putting on live events, I mean, WWE is very good at what they do. And we’re very good at what we do. And yeah, that’s about as far as it goes.”
