Following a significant reorganization at TNA Wrestling, the company has recently parted ways with several key figures in the backstage department. Among these departures is Lou D’Angeli. The backstage reaction to his departure has now been revealed.

We had reported that Lou D’Angeli, formerly known as Lou E. Dangerously in ECW, parted ways with TNA Wrestling recently as part of the company’s latest round of departures.

PWInsider reports that the reaction among several TNA talents over the past 24 hours regarding Lou D’Angeli’s departure has been a mixture of disbelief and sadness. D’Angeli had been a strong advocate behind the scenes, encouraging talents to take on additional roles within the company, similar to the strategy ECW employed when D’Angeli began his career in the business, initially working on camera before moving into promotional and marketing roles.

One talent mentioned that D’Angeli appeared to be trying to set up future roles for talents for when their in-ring careers would conclude. Many felt that his absence would be keenly felt by the company, especially in the short term.

As mentioned earlier, RD Evans was another significant departure from TNA Wrestling. Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Lou D’Angeli, as his exit remains a shocking one for good reason.
