AEW taped the June 1, 2024 episode of AEW Collision at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California earlier this week and a lot of matches took place during the show. Unfortunately, it appears an AEW star got hurt during the show.

During this week’s edition of AEW Collision, JD Drake and Anthony Henry squared off against Daniel Garcia and Katsuyori Shibata in a solid tag team match. It was an intense bout from start to finish and saw Garcia and Shibata pick up the win.

Following the conclusion of the match, JD Drake took to Twitter and revealed that he was in intense pain during the match as he suffered a foot injury but ultimately powered through.

”I’m hurting something f****** awful. My foot went into business for itself really early in the match. But, there was still work to be done. Thank you @Antnyhenry for having my back always. F the haters! Thank you to the real fans for the support!”

We sincerely hope JD Drake didn’t suffer a serious foot injury and will not have to lose out on in-ring time, as it has not been long since the Workhorsemen reunited following Anthony Henry’s injury as well.
