While WWE is a lot sorted out now, things weren’t the same back in the day. Rather, most of the decisions WWE made back then were kind of impromptu ones. A plethora of WWE stars have had multiple stints in WWE. Not only some mid-card ones, but some big ones too.

Former WCW star Jimmy Yang was one of them. The star signed up for WWE in 2001 but was released a few months later. He then made a return to the company in 2003 but was released again in 2005. However, his third stint in the company started in a hilarious manner.

In a recent interview with Steve Fall for Ringside News, Yang revealed that he bought tickets for a WWE event to impress a girl. He then crossed paths with Vince McMahon, who didn’t even remember that he fired Yang. Rather, he rehired him and used him on the same pay-per-view for an appearance.

“Yes, that’s the impression I got when he rehired me. It’s a crazy story. I was just trying to get laid one night, and there was a pay-per-view nearby. I was trying to get tickets and impress this hot chick. This was after I got fired. So, I got awesome tickets and everything. When I showed up, Vince and I crossed paths. He said, “Jimmy, where the hell have you been?” I replied, “You fired me.” He was shocked and said, “What? I did what?” It got busy, and he said he would come back and talk to me later.”

While his third stint kicked off in an unexpected way, it turned out to be great for Yang. He stayed in the company for a few years being a part of some interesting storylines before being released by the company in 2010. Yang then signed with the company once again, this time as a backstage producer, in 2021, but was released in just a couple of months.
