AEW has undeniably experienced a remarkable journey since its establishment in 2019, marked by significant growth and success. Sadly, it has encountered a gradual decline since All Out 2021, for the most part. Similar to any organization, AEW faces its share of challenges, and one of these is the struggle to sell tickets for their live shows.

On May 30, All Elite Wrestling taped AEW Collision at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California, for this weekend’s episode. You may check out the spoiler results here.

Acrisure Arena has a capacity of 11,000 people but AEW Collision was set up for 3,492 and they sold 2,910 tickets as per WrestleTix. A less-than-favorable set of images from this week’s AEW Collision has surfaced and the depiction is definitely something that does not help the company.

Some critics argue that AEW’s selection of oversized venues has contributed to unappealing visuals, which in turn has raised concerns about ticket sales. Nevertheless, there remains hope that AEW can surmount these obstacles and recapture its former success.

However, there is apprehension that AEW’s current attendance figures could mirror WCW’s decline in 2000, prompting worries about the company’s future trajectory. Time will reveal whether AEW can effectively address these challenges, especially considering the recent improvements in their product.
