TNA Wrestling has made huge headlines in recent memory after their Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace made a shocking appearance on the May 28 edition of WWE’s developmental show, NXT.
Grace was revealed to be the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship, currently held by Roxanne Perez at their upcoming special show, NXT Battleground set to take place on June 9 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Moreover, this appearance is expected to set the tone for future appearances by TNA and NXT stars in the near future. However, things have not been quite well in the backstage management of TNA, despite this magnanimous partnership with WWE.
In the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, significant behind-the-scenes developments in TNA Wrestling were highlighted, with the news just beginning to surface. It was reported that Robert Evans, a pivotal member of TNA’s creative team, has resigned, and several other staff members have also been let go. Additionally, TNA currently has no events scheduled beyond the tapings on August 2nd and 3rd in Tampa, FL.

While the fallout of this recent news will tend the affect TNA’s brewing partnership with WWE is yet to be seen, Jordynne Grace is set for her next WWE NXT appearance.
