Spoiler on Main Event for 2024 WWE NXT Battleground

NXT Battleground is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated shows ever produced by the Black and Gold brand. In light of the upcoming Premium Live Event, we now have a spoiler on the main event for the show.

NXT Battleground is set to take place on June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada. The stacked match card for NXT Battleground promises a wide variety of encounters to get hyped about.

Among them is the NXT Underground match pitting Lola Vice against Shayna Baszler, showcasing a clash of styles and fierce competition. Additionally, fans can expect the excitement to soar with a 6-woman ladder match set to determine the inaugural holder of the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

The May 28th edition of WWE NXT concluded with the unexpected debut of former TNA and AEW star Ethan Page, who targeted Trick Williams. This made fans wonder how he would be factored into NXT’s plans.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was noted that Ethan Page vs Trick Williams for the NXT Championship is expected to main event NXT Battleground next month.

”The main event of NXT Battleground is expected to be Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page for the NXT title.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will end up booking Ethan Page and Trick Williams’ feud in the coming week, as there isn’t much time left before the Battleground Premium Live Event.
