Giulia made a sensational debut at NXT Stand & Deliver last month, capturing the attention of the wrestling world with her impressive performance. However, her momentum was abruptly halted when she sustained a fractured wrist injury shortly after her debut. Giulia recently underwent surgery to address the injury. In an intriguing twist, there are plans to incorporate her surgery into her on-screen character and storyline in Japan.

Earlier this week, Giulia underwent surgery for her wrist injury and a few days afterwards, she ended up getting discharged from the hospital. Since then, she has been healing up and is on the road to recovery.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Giulia recently had a steel plate inserted into her wrist. In Japan, this will be used as a storyline gimmick, suggesting that the steel plate gives her increased knockout power.

”Giulia had a steel plate put in her wrist and they, at least in Japan, will be doing the gimmick she has more knockout power because of the steel plate.”
