WWE has made major headlines with the unveiling of its recent partnership with another top and renowned wrestling promotion in the industry, TNA.
TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace’s appearance on the latest episode of NXT marks a renewed collaboration between the two promotions. She impressed WWE officials with her performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble in January.
Now, Grace has been named the No.1 contender for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at the NXT Battleground PLE, set to take place on June 9th at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Moreover, this crossover is just the beginning.
According to a previous report, Grace’s appearance on the WWE NXT Battleground will not be the only WWE-TNA collaboration in the days ahead. Witnessing recent events and as hinted by the report, it seems RAW superstar Xavier Woods is next in line to crossover to TNA by detailing his plans. Woods stated on his X that he and his partner Kofi Kingston wanted to become the tag team champions of TNA and record a song with their popular star, Joe Hendry.
“Order of business would be… 1st – Me and @TrueKofi would take those tag titles 2nd – We make a song with @joehendry.”
Details are still unfolding, but TNA has scheduled shows in Chicago, including Against All Odds next month and TV tapings at Cicero Stadium which could be a good sight for WWE superstars to make their crossover appearances, possibly starting with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston.
Furthermore, these collaborations promise to bring exciting matchups and storylines, enhancing the wrestling experience for fans across both promotions.
