WWE WrestleMania 40 shattered numerous company records and earned accolades as one of the most remarkable shows in history, and that’s why it comes as no surprise the event ended up breaking yet another record.

A standout achievement of WrestleMania 40 was its unprecedented gate, surpassing previous records by a staggering 78%. Held at Lincoln Financial Field across two nights, the event drew a whopping 145,298 attendees from all corners of the globe, solidifying its status as a cultural phenomenon on a global scale.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that WrestleMania 40 Sunday set a new record for the highest ticket sales ever for a single-day pro wrestling event, generating $18,433,325.

WrestleMania 40 will forever be in the record books and has set the standard for Premium Live Events in the future, so we’ll have to wait and see whether WrestleMania 41 will be able to surpass it.
