Roxanne Perez Breaks Silence on Jordynne Grace Being Announced for NXT Battleground

Roxanne Perez has reigned as the NXT Women’s Champion for quite some time now. The star has been looking unstoppable in the past few months, and has proved that she has a lot more left in her tank. Her amazing matches have made her a massive attraction on the brand, and her main roster call-up might be on the horizon now. 

While Perez has been looking very strong, she has one of the biggest challenges of her career looming around. On the 5/28 episode of WWE NXT, the wrestling world was shocked when Ava Raine announced that Perez was set to defend her title against TNA star Jordynne Grace.

While the wrestling world has been shocked to see this move from WWE, Perez has not uttered a word until now. In a recent post on her X profile, Perez called out Ava Raine for praying for the champion’s downfall and vowed to turn things around. 

“You’re reaching for my downfall but it ain’t gonna happen sweetie”

Roxanne Perez vs Jordynne Grace is scheduled to take place at NXT Battleground on June 9, 2024. Grace is seemingly scheduled to stay here every week on NXT until their match.
