Ethan Page’s removal from the AEW roster page triggered speculation among fans about his status with the company. Ultimately, Page departed from AEW and promptly debuted in NXT this week. Shawn Michaels suggested that Page’s debut was a spontaneous decision, but the legitimacy of his claim has now been clarified.
The May 28th edition of WWE NXT concluded with the unexpected debut of former TNA and AEW star Ethan Page, who targeted Trick Williams. Fans were thrilled by this surprise appearance and are eagerly anticipating what he will achieve in NXT.
According to Fightful Select, Ethan Page is under a WWE contract. Despite Shawn Michaels claiming it was a last-minute decision, Page was accommodated in a hotel by WWE, indicating prior planning for his debut and that it was not a last-minute thing.
Ethan Page has also claimed he has not signed a contract with NXT, but clearly that is not the case and it’s part of a storyline. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see how Page will be booked in NXT in the coming weeks.
