WrestleMania stands as WWE’s premier event, a global spectacle renowned for its grandeur and allure. Recently, there has been increasing talk about the possibility of London hosting WrestleMania, fueled by London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan expressing interest in bringing the event to the United Kingdom’s capital.

Khan’s suggestion has ignited tons of discussions within the wrestling community, given WrestleMania’s status as WWE’s flagship event, drawing fans from across the globe. Hosting it in a major international city like London adds an intriguing dimension to the conversation.

“London is a world leader in major sports events and has been at the heart of some of the most memorable sporting moments of the last few decades. From the Olympics, to the Lionesses winning the Euros at Wembley, to the Ashes at Lord’s and The Oval, London is where it’s at. If I’m re-elected on 2 May, I’m determined to go even further and fully cement London’s reputation as the undisputed sports capital of the world. I believe that London has the potential to host the first international WrestleMania. In the meantime, my message to anyone travelling to the Paris Olympics this summer is to include a visit to London in your itinerary, to enjoy all that our city has to offer.”

While speaking to Daily Star, Grayson Waller was asked about WrestleMania taking place in London. The WWE Tag Team Champion made it clear the prospect of London hosting WrestleMania is a depressing idea.

I’m not a political guy, I don’t really pay attention to politics, especially in other countries. I presume this brother was struggling a little bit, so he was doing whatever he could to get re-elected. You know, I think the idea of WrestleMania in London’s cool, but I just don’t think it’s something that I want to do, that most of the wrestlers want to do. I’ve been to London. it’s a depressing place, and I think WrestleMania in London would be a very depressing WrestleMania. We don’t want that. So, its Sadiq, right? Well, I think you’re an idiot and WrestleMania in Australia is going to be much better!

WWE’s willingness to host WrestleMania in London has also been revealed. Triple H is open to talking with Khan about the idea of hosting WrestleMania in London. Even Cody Rhodes advocated for The United Kingdom to host WrestleMania in the future. Therefore, only time will tell whether The Showcase of The Immortals will make its way to London somehow.
