WWE Went Above and Beyond to Keep Jordynne Grace’s 5/28 NXT Appearance A Secret

Jordynne Grace has worked hard to make herself one of the most established female pro wrestlers in the world right now. Her recent appearance on NXT surprised many fans and that’s for good reason as WWE went above and beyond to keep her appearance a secret.

During the May 28th edition of NXT, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made shocking appearance, announced as the next challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at the upcoming event, NXT Battleground.

According to a report by Fightful Select, Corey Brennan noted that the tapings were more secretive than usual, with incomplete rundowns listing Lita and Alexa Bliss as placeholders for Grace’s appearance. During rehearsals, Lita’s theme was used as a placeholder for the segment. NXT talent were pleasantly surprised to learn that Jordynne Grace will be wrestling on NXT next week.

A former WWE Superstar even hid Grace and Ethan Page in his garage before the show. Jordynne Grace is also set to square off against Stevie Turner on next week’s episode of NXT, so we will have to wait and see just how well she will fare as part of WWE on a temporary basis.
