WWE Commentator Snubbed Vince McMahon Backstage After Infamous 2019 WWE Hell In A Cell Match

Vince McMahon used to rule WWE with an iron fist and that ultimately meant a lot of fans were left disappointed and disgruntled with a lot of bad booking decisions. In fact, it appears a WWE commentator snubbed McMahon backstage after Hell In A Cell 2019.

WWE Hell in a Cell 2019 is infamous for its main event between “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Seth Rollins, which ended in a controversial stoppage with no winner declared. The crowd in Sacramento expressed their displeasure by chanting “b*******,” “refund,” and “AEW.”

Matt Camp, who hosted the watch-along on WWE YouTube, filmed from a room at the arena, later shared his experience on his YouTube channel. He recounted an encounter with Vince McMahon after the show and revealed how Vic Joseph left McMahon hanging when he was trying to get a high five.

“I went to catering, and catering was right next to Gorilla. I come in and I’m following behind Vic Joseph, who was on commentary. It was his short run calling Raw. I’m following behind him, and he’s walking up the ramp towards Gorilla. Vince is coming the other way. Vince is skipping, he’s giddy. He goes to high five Vic, and Vic blows him off. Now it’s me and Vince. I’m there a month. I’m going, ‘Uhhh.’ He doesn’t know I’m there and he keeps going. I found out that Vince made the commentators stay out there and Sacramento and that crowd was so pissed. They’re throwing stuff. I think Vic was upset about that. ‘Why are you leaving me out there to get pelted with crap?’ Vince loved the crowd reaction.”

Vic Joseph is now the lead play-by-play announcer on NXT alongside Booker T. Regardless, 2019’s Hell In A Cell will forever live in infamy because of that match and no one can change that.
