The main event of tonight’s May 29 edition of AEW Dynamite saw the company’s popular Casino Gauntlet match go down with an opportunity to challenge for the AEW World Championship at their upcoming pay-per-view in collaboration with NJPW, Forbidden Door.

The match began with The Switchblade Jay White and PAC kicking off the bout in a spectacular fashion. They were soon joined by the next entrant from CMLL, Mistico giving a preview of things to come at Forbidden Door.

Following that, the fans saw the arrival of the new AEW International Champion Will Ospreay who was looking to earn another title after his win over Roderick Strong at Double or Nothing. The crossover festivities continued as NJPW’s Shota Umino entered the fray, but the field was dominated with the arrival of Claudio Castagnoli who laid out everyone with his Swing.

The next follow up entrants were another person who crossed the Forbidden Door, Lio Rush, AEW’s Orange Cassidy, and Hechicero joining the bout, all gunning for the same opportunity that lay ahead of them.
