TNA Champion Hints at Crossover Match with WWE Star After 5/28 NXT

Mustafa Ali made his TNA debut this year, and he wasted no time in becoming the TNA X-Division Champion. Following the shocking events of the May 28th edition of WWE NXT, Ali has hinted at a crossover match between himself and a WWE Superstar.

The May 28th edition of WWE NXT was packed with surprises for fans, featuring the return of Jordynne Grace and the debut of Ethan Page on the same night. TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made shocking appearance, announced as the next challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at NXT Battleground.

Following Jordynne Grace’s shocking appearance on NXT, Cedric Alexander took to Twitter and commented on her appearance, as he wondered if he could finally challenge Mustafa Ali for the Division Title.

”So does this mean I can finally challenge for the #XDivision title @MustafaAli_X”

Mustafa Ali saw what Cedric Alexander had to say and he hinted at making the match happen, admitting that he had a shot at Alexander’s Cruiserweight Title, so he should return the favor.

”i had a shot at your cruiserweight title. i should return the favor…”

We have reported that Jordynne Grace’s appearance on NXT and at the upcoming Battleground event will not be the only WWE and TNA collaboration in the days ahead. We will have to wait and see whether Alexander and Ali will end up squaring off against each other in TNA.
