Shawn Michaels Confesses Jealousy Towards Triple H Over Jordynne Grace’s WWE Royal Rumble Deal

Jordynne Grace has solidified her position as one of the most beloved female pro wrestlers globally. That’s why fans were shocked to see her on NXT this week and it appears Shawn Michaels has admitted he was jealous of Triple H after he got Jordynne Grace for the Royal Rumble.

During the May 28th edition of NXT, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made shocking appearance, announced as the next challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at the upcoming event, NXT Battleground.

This wasn’t her first time making waves in the WWE Universe; she previously appeared as a surprise entrant in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble earlier this year, showcasing her imposing presence.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Shawn Michaels commented on Jordynne Grace’s appearance on NXT and admitted he was jealous of Triple H after he got Jordynne Grace for the Royal Rumble.

“Right now, a lot of things are still being worked out internally. There are people above me that I leave to making those kinds of decisions. What I enjoy doing is what we did last night, which is having the opportunity to putting real surprises and real ‘oh my God’ moments back to WWE, wrestling, and NXT. That’s what we had last night. I have been very public about being a fan of Jordynne Grace. I expressed to Hunter [Triple H] privately that I was very jealous that he had her for the Rumble. He owed me. We’re thrilled to have her for Battleground and next week. This is going to be an epic event. To one up ourselves, which we always try to do, having TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace contend for the NXT Women’s Championship, fighting Roxanne Perez, is going to be really big.”

Jordynne Grace is also making big money with her NXT appearances. Jordynne Grace is already capitalizing on her NXT appearance with a new t-shirt. We’ll have to wait and see whether Grace’s short run in NXT will eventually lead to a longer run somewhere down the line.
