Roxanne Perez Insisted on Not Knowing Her NXT Battleground Opponent Before 5/28 WWE NXT

Roxanne Perez has established herself as one of the most dangerous and vicious champions in recent memory. Her mean streak has taken over the NXT landscape, solidifying her reign as the formidable NXT Women’s Champion. In fact, she also insisted on not knowing her opponent for NXT Battleground before this week’s show.

During the May 28th edition of NXT, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made surprise appearance, and was announced as the next challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Title at the upcoming event NXT Battleground on June 9th.

According to a report by Fightful Select, Roxanne Perez was genuinely surprised by the announcement. It was noted that Perez specifically requested not to be informed about her opponent beforehand, ensuring her reaction to seeing Jordynne Grace was completely genuine.

We will have to wait and see whether Roxanne Perez will be able to defeat Jordynne Grace, as it will undoubtedly be her toughest title defense to date, as Grace is simply superhuman.
