Maxwell Jacob Freidman, popularly known as MJF, went on hiatus a few months ago with wrestling fans speculating about his future in AEW. However, the wait to see him back was finally over when MJF made his shocking return at Double or Nothing.

Following a video being played and revealing a corridor leading to a room filled with his relics, MJF made his long-awaited return, interrupting Adam Cole who was already present in the ring. However, he did not waste any time and laid out the man who took him out in his last appearance before Double or Nothing.

Furthermore, the former AEW World Champion seized the moment to assert his dominance and announced his loyalty to AEW in his quest to reclaim his spot at the top of the roster.

On the May 29 edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that MJF will mark his return to Dynamite next week to possibly address his future plans after declaring his commitment to the company. The Salt of the Earth took to his X minutes later to break the silence on his upcoming appearance.
