Title Match Added to WWE NXT Battleground

WWE’s developmental show, NXT Battleground is shaping up to be one of the most enthralling shows ever produced by the Black and Gold brand. The event is set to take place on June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada.

The stacked match card features some exciting matches to look forward to such as the NXT Underground match between Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler, a 6-woman ladder match to crown the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Championship, and much more.

The latest match added to the show has been the result of weeks of run-ins and encounters between the legendary tag team, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, and current NXT tag team champions, Nathan Frazer and Axiom.

On tonight’s May 28 edition of WWE NXT, Gallows, and Anderson once again brought up the issue and even had an in-ring encounter with the tag team champions at the end of their scheduled bout. Following that, it was announced that Frazer and Axiom would defend their NXT tag team championships against The Good Brothers at NXT Battleground.
