Roxanne Perez’s First Remarks After Jordynne Grace Revealed as NXT Battleground Opponent

Roxanne Perez has solidified her status as one of the most dangerous and vicious champions in recent memory. However, The Prodigy’s reign is now in jeopardy with the announcement of her next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground.

On the May 28 edition of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez took to the ring to reflect on her history with the title while awaiting the announcement of her challenger. As she turned her ire towards NXT General Manager Ava, she surprised everyone by announcing TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace as Perez’s opponent for Battleground.

Jordynne Grace then appeared in front of the NXT Universe, confronting Roxanne face-to-face and boldly declaring her intention to leave NXT Battleground as a double champion.

While Roxanne did not say much inside the ring at that moment, she took to her X to welcome Jordynne to her world while also declaring that she should have remained out of it while she had the chance, indicating to unleash wrath on her at NXT Battleground.

With Grace’s announcement as Roxanne’s challenger coming off as a huge surprise much to the excitement of the NXT Universe, it would surely be an amazing showdown between the two talented stars in Las Vegas.
