Michin Qualifies for NXT Women’s North American Championship Match on 5/28 WWE NXT

The May 28 edition of WWE NXT from the Capitol Wrestling Center kicked off with the arrival of popular rapper, Sexyy Red who made a blockbuster announcement for WWE Battleground and unveiled the NXT Women’s North American Championship belt for the fans.

However, at that moment, the unhinged Tatum Paxley had a brief scuffle with Sexyy Red over the belt before her scheduled opponent for the night, Michin came down to break things up and their qualifying match to earn a spot in the ladder match for the title at Battleground was underway.

As the match began, Jaida Parker, who had already qualified for the aforementioned match, joined the WWE NXT commentary desk with Booker T and Vic Joseph to watch the action firsthand.

The action went back and forth between the resilient Michin and the dangerous Paxley watching some intense moments. But in the end, it was Michin who put the exclamation point on Paxley and secured the win to earn the 5th spot in the NXT Women’s North American championship ladder match.
