Mark Henry Addresses Accusations He Constantly Bashed AEW

Mark Henry made a notable debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view in 2021, but in the three years since, some feel he hasn’t accomplished much in the company. Henry has now responded to accusations that all he did was criticize AEW.

Reports earlier this week indicated that Henry’s contract with AEW is due to expire later this month and many wondered if he was going to leave AEW. That’s exactly what happened, as Henry confirmed he would not be re-signing with the company.

A fan took to Twitter and accused Mark Henry of doing nothing but criticize AEW in light of his departure. The tweet also branded Henry as a traitor. Mark Henry saw the tweet and responded to it by stating that the fan confused critiquing with trashing.

”You confuse critiquing with trashing because you don’t know what you’re talking about just because you watch something don’t mean you know it. I’ve seen surgeries but I can’t do it.”

We’ll have to wait and see where Mark Henry ends up next. There’s always the possibility he could return to WWE and share his vast knowledge with the new generation of WWE Superstars.
