The history-making 6-woman ladder match for the newly christened NXT Women’s North American Championship saw some of the best female athletes of the Black and Gold brand compete for the opportunity.

Over the weeks, we saw the top stars of the roster battle in hard-hitting encounters to claim a spot in the match with tonight’s May 28 edition of WWE NXT kicking off with the 5th spot of the match won by Michin in qualifying match.

The last and final spot of the match was contested between Kelani Jordan and Wren Sinclair. With the opportunity to create history, both women went up against each other with everything in their arsenal.

But in the end, it was Kelain Jordan who capitalized on the right spot and hit the split-legged moonsault to secure the win and last spot for NXT Battleground.
