The rivalry between HOOK and Chris Jericho going on for weeks has been perceived as the monster push by The Learning for him to elevate his career to greater heights citing his in-ring persona, personality, and overall presentation.

The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil battled in a triple threat match against Jericho and Katsuyori Shibata with The Ucho’s FTW Championship on the line at AEW Double or Nothing he defeated HOOK to claim.

The match did live up to the expectations of the fans in attendance who seemed invested in the three-way bout. But WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff, known to be a huge detractor, claimed it to be a horrible sight on his podcast, 83 Weeks.

Bischoff further stated a talent like HOOK needs to go to the developmental system of the global juggernaut, WWE NXT, and claimed that he would not experience any growth if he continued with AEW.

“This was horrible. Hook needs to get to NXT as fast as he can. He’s not going to learn anything where he is at. Lets face it. He’s surrounded by Hardcore Terry Funk Wanna-bees. Every match is the same. “

As we saw, the conclusion of the match saw The Bounty Hunter Bryan Keith interfere and assist Chris Jericho in retaining his FTW championship. While Jericho might have walked away with the title, it seems that things are far from over between him and HOOK.

Do you think HOOK should leave AEW and join WWE NXT as stated by Eric Bischoff? Will it be better for his growth as an in-ring competitor? Sound off in the comments!
