Chris Jericho defeated HOOK for the FTW Championship at AEW Dynasty and since then he has fully embraced ”The Learning Tree” gimmick which is more self-aware than initially thought. In light of this, Jericho is set to debut a new ‘TV Time’ segment on the May 29th edition of Dynamite.
Chris Jericho put his FTW Championship on the line against both HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata in a three-way FTW Rules match at AEW Double or Nothing. In the end, Jericho retained his title thanks to Bryan Keith who ended up joining Jericho.
”The Learning Tree” took to his Instagram and uploaded a post, where he confirmed that he will be debuting a new segment called ‘TV Time’ on the May 29th edition of Dynamite.
”HI GUYS!! 👋 Who wants more #TVTime? I DO!! Please join 🌳🌳 #TheLearningTree 🌳🌳 this Wed on #AEWDynamite for the debut of my BRAND NEW segment!!!! We are gonna have a blast!!! See you in the #JerichoVortex soon! THANKS GUYS!! @aew”
We will have to wait and see how Chris Jericho’s new segment will be viewed by fans, as there are quite a few people who are genuinely fed up with him and just want Jericho to retire for good.
As a reminder, Ringside News will have live play-by-play coverage of the event in our AEW Dynamite hub. Check back for any updates, news, rumors and spoilers for the show.
