One of the standouts in AEW’s women’s division, Tay Melo, who made her debut in 2020 is gearing up for her return after an extended hiatus. After weeks of back and forth with the fans and teasing her return, Melo gave a new update on her return timeline.

The wife of another AEW star, Sammy Guevara has been away from the ring since March 2023, following the announcement at AEW Double or Nothing that she and Sammy were expecting a child and welcomed their daughter, Luna Melo Guevara, last November.

Excited to get back into the ring, Tay Melo recently shared her dedication to regaining her strength and preparing for her comeback. Moreover, a recent report stated that while Melo is back in training, there are no immediate creative plans for her return.

Furthermore, a fan expressed missing Melo’s presence on AEW programming. This caught her attention and Tay Melo took to her X to reveal that she was still a couple more months away from being cleared for in-ring competition.
