Maria Kanellis, widely recognized as the ‘First Lady of Women’s Wrestling’ for her vocal and confident contributions to the industry, has been a veteran in her own right. But it seems that she has lost her spot on live television programming.

Last year, the former WWE superstar shared that she underwent thyroid surgery, which was successful. Despite this, Maria Kanellis’ health has been challenging over the past year, contributing to her infrequent appearances on AEW and ROH.

Adding to her troubles, Maria Kanellis also announced some time ago on Twitter that her account had been hacked. Speaking of that social media platform, a user pointed out the fact that Maria had only had a limited time and if she was happy about the same.

The First Lady took notice and responded negatively via her X citing her unhappiness with her current role on Ring of Honor television and claiming that she has a job to do and could only look for opportunities for her role.

“I’m not happy about it. I’ve tried to fight it. I can only do my job and look for opportunities.”

With Maria Kanellis making her feelings clear, we will have to wait and see if ROH owner Tony Khan decides to use her star power more for the benefit of AEW’s sister brand in the future.
