Adam Copeland has been a consistent presence on AEW television ever since his debut at WrestleDream. At Double or Nothing, he delivered a stellar performance in an exceptional match, emerging victorious with the assistance of Gangrel. Afterwards, Gangrel finally broke his silence on the matter.
With anticipation reaching a fever pitch, Copeland defended his TNT title against Malakai Black in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match at AEW Double or Nothing. The match ignited with explosive action, quickly spiraling into one of the most brutal encounters of their careers. The unforgiving barbed wire structure intensified the danger as both men unleashed their fury, resulting in a gruesome display of bloodshed.
As the battle neared its end, members of the House of Black intervened, providing Black with a timely advantage. However, the tide turned unexpectedly when Gangrel emerged from beneath the ring, clearing the path and aligning himself with his former ally Copeland.
With the momentum now in his favor, Gangrel applied a devastating submission hold using the barbed wire, ultimately forcing Black to succumb, securing victory for Copeland in a gripping and dramatic conclusion.
Gangrel took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself after his shocking appearance at AEW Double or Nothing, as he was spotted on a plane following the event. Gangrel was clearly happy with what he had accomplished.
”Heading home via Big D Dallas! #latenightearlyflights #fanginNbangin”
Fans were certainly happy to see Gangrel back on AEW television after so long. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether he will make his return again somewhere down the line.
