Eddie Kingston has been one of the most prominent names in AEW lately. The star has been everywhere, trying to make a name for himself and help everyone he can on the roster. The star was recently scheduled to be a part of the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing.

However, during his match at NJPW Resurgence, the star sustained a knee injury, which eventually led to Darby Allin replacing him in the match at Double or Nothing. A few days ago, reports of Kingston getting his surgery done in July surfaced on the internet.

A new update from PWInsider has revealed that Kingston would undergo surgery on July 8, only after his tubular fracture healed itself. Following surgery, the former AEW Continental Champion is expected to be out of action for around 10 months, which takes away a significant time of his career.

Kingston’s injury has clearly turned to be very severe and is expected to stay away from the squared circle for a long time. With his surgery scheduled for July, it doesn’t seem like the star would be back on TV before May 2025.
