The absence of Brock Lesnar from WWE television since his match against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam has sparked widespread speculation about his future with the company. Amidst rumors and concerns, it seems that WWE has lifted the ban on mentioning his name, leading to renewed interest and anticipation among fans.

Initially, plans were in motion for Lesnar to participate in the Royal Rumble. However, these plans were disrupted due to legal entanglements related to Vince McMahon’s trafficking lawsuit.

Lesnar’s absence from WWE programming has coincided with setbacks in his relationship with the company. He was notably excluded from the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K24, and removed from WWE Creative’s plans for the foreseeable future.

However, during the King and Queen of The Ring Premium Live Event, Brock Lesnar was mentioned by Michael Cole, surprising fans and fueling speculation about a potential return.

Ringside News reached out to a member of the WWE writing staff for clarification on Lesnar’s mention, and it was revealed that Paul Heyman had referenced Lesnar several times during his WWE Hall of Fame speech. Following this, WWE lifted the ban on his name.

”Heyman mentioned him several times during his Hall of Fame speech and I think the ban on his name was lifted from that.”

While it remains uncertain when Lesnar will return to WWE television, fans can take solace in the fact that he is no longer banned from being mentioned. This development opens the door for potential future appearances and storylines involving the Beast Incarnate.
