Toni Storm Retains Women’s Championship at 2024 AEW Double or Nothing

Toni Storm has brought her character to a whole new level in the past few months. With the addition of Mariah May into the mix, the duo has turned out to bring a new aura to the women’s wrestling division of AEW, with Storm sitting on her throne at the Women’s Champion. 

While Storm has defended her title multiple times in her past, she had one of the biggest challenges of her career waiting for her at AEW Double or Nothing. Storm defended her title against Serena Deeb at the pay-per-view, and had a lot to prove to the fans around the world. 

The match between both women turned to have a lot of action with Deeb using her experience to stay ahead of the champion for a major part of it. However, after a number of close falls, Toni Storm ended up pinning the challenger to pick a win.

With another successful title defense, Toni Storm continues to solidify her reign as the AEW Women’s Champion. In addition to that, the interesting things she gets to do with her new character, seems to be a massive attraction for fans.
