Willow Nightingale walked into tonight’s AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view with everything and walked out of the show with the one half of the event’s title “nothing” following the chain of events that followed.

She defended her AEW TBS Championship against her long-time rival and debuted Mercedes Mone in her first-ever in-ring showdown for Tony Khan’s company. Moreover, Willow had her friends, Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway in her corner to support her.

A highly enthralling match between the two female stars had the audience glued to their seats until some miscommunication and a timely delivery of the Mone Maker gave Mercedes Mone the win and made her the new TBS Champion.

As she exited ringside with her newly won championship, a heated moment happened between Willow, Kris, and Stokely that led to him berating Willow for her loss and Kris Statlander shoving him down the mat.

However, as she was leaving ringside with Willow, she shocked the audience by attacking her in an act of betrayal with Stokely Hathaway joining her as they posed over a fallen Willow Nightingale who lost her championship and friends on the same night.
